Building a Different Kind of Learning Experience
Because there’s more to learning than school.
At Brain Bug Kids, we believe children need opportunities to go beyond textbooks and classrooms: to explore, experiment, create, solve problems, communicate and discover what they are capable of.
We create learning experiences that help children build practical skills, confidence and curiosity alongside their school education.
What Are Our Children Actually Learning?
That was a question we started asking ourselves as parents.
School gives children an important academic foundation.
But outside textbooks, worksheets and exams, where do children get the opportunity to explore, experiment, create and figure things out for themselves?
We looked for something
Learning experiences where children wouldn’t just memorise and move on, but actually understand. Where they could ask questions, make mistakes, try again and discover what they were capable of.
We couldn’t find it
We looked around. We tried different options. But we couldn’t quite find what we were looking for.
The gap stayed with us
We kept thinking about what children need beyond the classroom, and how we could give them more opportunities to learn this way.
That thought eventually became Brain Bug Kids.
We started with a simple belief: children need opportunities not just to learn what to know, but to explore, create, experiment, solve and discover what they can do.
Learning Should Go Beyond Knowing the Answer
Brain Bug Kids was founded by long-time friends Sakshi Munjal and Nidhi Chopra. They came from different professional and learning backgrounds, but shared the same belief: children learn best when they are actively involved in their learning.
After 13 years in the corporate world with a leading IT company, Sakshi moved into something closer to her interests in learning, mathematics and children’s development. Nidhi, with her background in early childhood learning, phonics and animation, brought a different perspective, especially around how young children learn best.
Together, they started Brain Bug Kids in 2023 with a couple of programs and a small group of children. The intention was simple: a place where children could understand, experience, apply and explore, rather than simply learn for the next test.
Since then, Brain Bug Kids has grown into a wider learning ecosystem spanning STEM, coding, AI, robotics, mathematics, phonics, communication, languages, chess, gymnastics, workshops and camps. But the reason we started remains the same.
We want children to leave a class with more than something they have learnt.
Or simply the confidence to think:
“Let me try.”
Meet Our Founders
Two backgrounds, one shared idea of what learning could be
Sakshi Munjal
Sakshi leads curriculum and learning across Brain Bug Kids, with a special focus on making Science and Maths practical, engaging and curiosity-driven.
For her, learning isn’t about memorising another answer. It’s about understanding why something works, exploring it and being able to use it.
Nidhi Chopra
Nidhi brings a deep understanding of early childhood learning, making the first stages of education playful, engaging and age-appropriate.
Through stories, activities and creative techniques, she helps children build strong foundations and become confident readers, because early learning should create curiosity, not pressure.
Two Founders. One Belief.
Sakshi and Nidhi come from different areas of expertise.
One brings a strong foundation in Science, Maths and technology.
The other brings expertise in early learning, phonics and child development.
But they share one belief:
Children learn best when they are actively involved in their learning.
That belief shapes everything we do at Brain Bug Kids, from our curriculum and teaching methods to the programs and experiences we create.
What We Want Brain Bug Kids to Be
The place parents think of when they want their child to develop practical skills beyond school. Not because we offer the most courses, but because every program should add something meaningful to a child’s development.
Innovative
Always looking for better ways for children to learn.
Serious About Learning
Fun doesn’t mean learning is taken lightly.
Practical
Children should be able to understand and apply what they learn.
Future-Focused
Building skills that remain valuable as the world changes.
Experimental
Try. Make mistakes. Question. Try again.
Fun
Learning that children actually look forward to.
Thoughtfully Designed
Carefully planned curriculum, meaningful experiences and mentors who understand how children learn.
What We Never Want Brain Bug Kids to Become
A place where children come simply because their parents enrolled them.
Attend a class. Complete an activity. Go home.
That’s not what we want.
And most of all, we want them to slowly develop the confidence to say:
“Let me try.”
Because that mindset can stay with a child long after a particular class, course or textbook is forgotten.
From One Question to Many More Children
Brain Bug Kids started with a simple question about our own children. Today, we want to take that idea to many more children and families.
Our goal is to build a place where children can discover practical skills, explore their interests and develop the confidence to navigate a world that is constantly changing.
OUR ASPIRATION IS SIMPLE
To help more children fall in love with learning.
Not learning because they have to.
Learning because they want to know what happens next.
